I started to get a sore throat on Friday morning. Then congestion Friday night and woke up Sat with a very painful sore throat. Decided to get tested for Covid & Strep Sat morning. Negative for strep. 3 days wait for covid results. No fever yet so might be something else. Husband had symptoms last week and seems to be better now.

I have my first prenatal appointment scheduled for Monday. It is an ultrasound and my husband is planning to come. I took the day off work and his sister took time off to come and watch our son while we go.

Problem: office's website says the following:

Biggest symptoms for me now are headache and congestion. So.. should I call and tell them what's going on? My fear is that they're going to cancel. Maybe that would be best for everyone. I just really want to know baby is okay, and we already made all these accommodations to be able to go. What if I'm feeling better Monday but still don't have covid results?
