Annoyed with my mom.

My mom lives about an hour away. She never comes to visit anymore. She would visit us every weekend when we lived 50 minutes away, but now she won’t visit since it’s an hour and ten minutes. Sigh. We do go visit her, but it’s just a long drive for a toddler, and we only go if we are staying the night, so it’s always a big to do.

Literally every single day she says how she doesn’t understand my 19 month old and she needs to use more words and less sign language. My daughter says an age appropriate amount of words and she does use a lot of sign language as well. I get tired of her insinuating my daughter is unintelligent just because she doesn’t take the time to spend time with her and understand her more. 🤦‍♀️
