My son is turning 2 in april, he wears 18-24 months but is snug, what size should I get him?

So I want to get him some more clothes but it’s smart to size up, I was looking at children’s place but I was thinking of getting 2T, my concern is I don’t know if I should get 2T because I’m afraid it will shrink a lot.. what should I do?

Well childrens place is GREAT but the pants run reallllllley big my 2yo wears 2t pants and can wear their 12-18mo shorts and 18-24mo pants are a bit big and a 2t is a bit big. Shirts run average ish.  Dont shrink too bad.   I would buy 1 size up shirts. Like a 3t so you can get a little extra wear out of them.
