Going back to work

How did you cope with leaving your baby to go back to work?

My baby is 4 months, I am planning to return to work in January but just the thought of leaving my baby girl is breaking my heart. I have a good position at work with benefits and good pay, quitting is not an option. I am scared she’s going to forget me and prefer my MIL (who is already annoyingly possessive over her) since she is who most likely will take care of her. I don’t want my baby to forget me :( I also have just gotten the hang of breastfeeding but I’m pretty sure all that is going to go down the drain once I return.
