Could this be a miscarriage?

I’m 10 weeks PP and started what I thought was my first period on Saturday. It started with some thick sticky blood tinted discharge and then I woke up Sunday to heavy bleeding. This is my second baby and my first PP period with my first was awful so I was fully expecting heavy bleeding. Last night I found this on my pad. It was hard in the middle. We were obviously not trying to get pregnant but did have sex about 2 weeks ago. My husband pulled out but we weren’t using any form of protection (stupid I know). Could this possibly be an early miscarriage?
