This is my 3rd pregnancy!

1st pregnancy I had my membranes stripped and it did nothing, I was dilated to a 2 and had been for weeks.

2nd pregnancy I had my membranes stripped with a different dr, that happened on a Friday morning and I had spent the day walking around, and I went into labor the next morning around 6:30am. I was 38w+6d and I don’t remember if I was dilated or not.

3rd pregnancy, I went today around 1:45p. She stripped my membranes (same dr as #2). I am dilated to a 4 and 80% effaced. Since my appointment I’ve had contractions here and there, nothing consistent. Also a tiny bit of cramping but no discharge.

What’s your experience with having your membranes stripped? It put you into labor, or it didn’t? We’re you dilated when you had it done? Effaced at all? How long before you went into labor?
