Medical Bills

I live in Michigan and im on state medicaid because I lost my job and health insurance. I dont have to pay any copays or anything. I recently went to the gynecologist and they did blood work because I've been having pain. A week later i get a bill in the mail saying i owe 480. The total bill was 900. I thought state insurance pays for everything for that stuff? Im gonna call and see if maybe it was a mistake or something. Will they let me make a payment plan even if I dont work right now? I was working on my credit and i really dont want this going to collections
