Glucose Test- When to stop taking in sugar?

Tomorrow I have my glucose test.. however, my appointment is at 2:45, and the thought of having no sugar until then is killing me. 😭 (I really want some Starbucks!) 
Would it be safe to have something or am I best to just wait until after my appointment?

Gestational diabetes is not caused by eating sugar and not eating sugar before the test won’t help you pass.
I didn’t eat sugar barely ever during my pregnancy and stopped eating any sugar or carbs 2 days before my test and I still failed.
Gestational diabetes is caused by hormones and the placenta, not diet.

Well I eat a no sugar diet and still got it sooo...

Just wait until after. I was advised to eat normally but not to eat anything with sugar including fruit because it could skew your results

My doctor told me I did not have to fast

I was told I didn’t have to fast but not to take in anything sweet, I just drank water tbh I didn’t wanna risk anything. I heard people had toast and plain eggs though

It’s best to pass trust me.
