Is he going to propose??

My boyfriend of 4 years asked if we could do a photoshoot together and to make sure I get my nails done. Is it wrong to assume he’s going to propose?? And if he doesn’t, would it be wrong if I got upset?? 
I mean, sounds a little obvious to me..... right?
