3 weeks pp and just looked at my downstairs for the first time

I had an episiotomy and have been worried to look at the scar/stitches. I plucked up the courage today however the scar really wasn’t what I was looking at. My vagina looks so different?! The opening itself looks different. Instead of the hole that was there before I can see the hole and also fleshy bits just in the opening. They are underneath my urethra and just at the bottom of the hole but they aren’t protruding just visible. Is this normal and gradually the hole will close back up and they won’t be visible anymore or something to worry about like a prolapse? TIA
