How much weight did you lose with gd diet?

Just wondering how much weight is normal to have lost? I was 141 before pregnancy 163 before the gd test at 26 weeks and now I am 147 at 32/33 weeks. At my last check up my fundal height was measuring 32 weeks which is on track

I lost about 8lbs starting the diet and then stopped gaining or losing around 34 weeks and stayed the same until delivery.

I gained no weight during pregnancy. What I lost from changing my diet was made up for with baby. However, once I delivered, I was 25lbs lighter 2 days pp than I was the day I got pregnant.

I lost ten lbs of fat but didn’t lose much during the pregnancy. I basically stayed the same because what I lost in fat I made up for in baby and fluid

I only lost about 5 pounds. It’s a balance between eating enough carbs for baby but keeping it low enough to keep your sugars under control.

That is a significant about of weight to lose. Has your doctor said anything? The GD diet is not specifically designed to get you to lose weight after a GD diagnosis.
