PGS...is it worth it?

I’m not sure how I feel about embryo testing anymore.  I have had 2 IVF cycles yielding me 5 normal embryos.
FET 1 fail
FET 2 successful 
FET 3 fail
FET 4 miscarriage 
FET 5 tbd....
I feel like my odds would have been just as good with untested embryos and I would be about 4K richer.  
If (and that’s a big IF) I do another cycle I’m not sure what we will decide to do

I haven’t pgs test and wouldn’t it’s not 100% they can toss out viable embryos and it is expensive

It sounds like there’s something else going on. Have you considered attempting a 3 day fresh transfer, then PGTing the rest? Some people just do better with early transfers for some reason. What do your clinic’s success rates look like? Seconding the question about whether you’ve done a ERA? What about genetic testing for yourself? Have they changed your protocols? You’ve had success, which is good. I still side with PGT unless you only get a couple. If you’re having sticky issues with your good ones, I can’t imagine your bad embryos would make it, especially now that you’re older. The risk of chromosomal issues is on a steady upswing.

Im so sorry you are going through this- it’s just not fair what we go through for why should be so “normal”.  Do you mind me asking how old you are? We didn’t do pgs testing because we never retrieved that many eggs and didn’t want to risk, I’ve seen soooooo many women have failed transfer with PERFECT tested embryos...

I would absolutely do PGS if you’ve had this many unsuccessful FETs.

What did you RE say about the failed FETs? My RE encouraged us to PGS test our three frozen embryos that we had left from 2017. Only 1 came back normal and we plan on transferring our last embryo in the summer

They were PGS tested.  That’s why I’m struggling with it. :-(
