I found it around 9 weeks. Watched a lot of you tube videos to know where to look. Also kept searching sessions to a short period. If I nptoced.inwas becoming anxious or stressed I stopped and did something soothing..

I found it myself at 10 weeks!

I was able to find #3 at that time only because I knew exactly where he was, how to position the equipment and that he loves to hang out right up front. I had no expectation to find it and knew it was highly unlikely.

My OB found it almost immediately at 9 weeks. However I had an posterior placenta and my uterus is anteverted so that made it a lot easier. I didn’t even try to find it myself until 16 weeks. 
Chances of finding it by yourself that early are probably pretty slim.

Doctors don’t even use a Doppler that early. I didn’t find the heartbeat on one until closer to 14weeks and it was hard still.

No and you most likely won’t. Baby is so so tiny at that stage.
