Rhogam shot when both partners are negative?

I found out at my first visit that my blood type is A negative. I had to get a Rhogam shot because they didn’t know for sure what my husband is and I was having spotting (this was early on). I was told I will have to get another one at 28 weeks. At my husbands physical he got his blood type checked and we found out he is also A negative! Does this mean I won’t have another Rhogam shot? I really would rather not get another one if I don’t have to.

Yes that means you don't need anymore! 
I'm also A- and my husband is A+. I have had to get it at 28 weeks and again within 48 hours after delivery.

From my understanding it’s impossible for your baby to be Rh+ if you and your partner are Rh- so I don’t see why you’d have to have the shot again. Just bring in your partners paperwork showing their blood type

I didn’t know that but my husband is positive and I’m negative so I need one. I just had mine and it really wasn’t bad at all. If you have to get another one I suggest getting it in the butt it really doesn’t hurt there.
