Ugh so much coming up

I hope you’re all doing well!

We have a lot coming up here. My little Eli has to have a surgery for a tongue and lip tie. Because of his age, it’s not just a simple quick procedure anymore, he has to be put under for it. After that, he has to start speech therapy for both swallowing and speech. He says a TON of words but can’t articulate certain letters because of the tongue tie. We also have to see an ibclc because he’s still breastfed and I want his latch fixed once the surgery is done. His lip has almost no mobility at all. His practitioner said it’s the worst one he’s ever seen.

We are also doing OT and have to find a new PT for cerebral palsy related issues. His cp doesn’t seem to affect him “a lot,” considering he’s hit all his physical milestones on time or ahead, but as he grows it definitely becomes more noticeable.

His anemia has finally resolved without using iron supplements so that’s great!

He still has an Epstein pearl in his mouth that has grown so that’s being watched.

I feel so overwhelmed lately. I know things could be so much worse but I’m exhausted of running to appointments every day and wish things could just be “easy” for a minute. There’s no help because of covid and dad isn’t allowed to any of the appointments because only one person in because of covid. He lets me do them because I’m the one home with him.
