X-rays and Infertility

What’s the likelihood of X-rays ruining or lowering sperm count for good or temporary? My husband had X-rays done the summer of 2019 before a chiropractor appointment. They never covered his crotch before they took them! Much to our surprise. We’ve been trying for our 3rd baby with no luck since April. Now we’re wondering if the X-rays hindered something?! My cycles have been off since February but started tracking them in August and September so I have a general idea of when I’m ovulating 🤞🏻 I have a doctor appointment on the 22nd to see if it’s myself causing anything. I’m just hoping it’s not due to the X-rays! Ooohhh we’d be livid!
