Early scan worth it??

Has anyone else here from the UK paid for an early scan?! Was it worth it? 
I just couldn’t wait so have booked one for 23rd December when I’ll be 6.5 weeks so hopefully find out that baby at least has a heart beat. I’m really worried about miscarriage as it seems to run in the family and hoping this will put my mind at ease a little. 😅

These are 8 weeks, 9 weeks, 10 weeks and 11 weeks. All abdominal scans. Hopefully it will give you an idea of what you will see

I think it's worth it even if it's just for the peace of mind! 12 weeks is so long to wait, especially when you've experienced losses in those early weeks ❤️

I had one at 7.5 weeks and it gave me such relief. Just to know there’s a heart beat, implanted in the right place and all forming nicely. Worth it for sure!! 👍🏼

This was mine just before 6 weeks, I had a reassurance scan due to 2 previous losses and it was great...helped me relax a lot :) do it! ❤

I had one at 6w 3d found it very reassuring to see the pregnancy was viable put my mind at rest.

Yes I think they are definitely worth it, you won't be able to see much but you should be able to see it's viable. I had one about 6.5 weeks and another private scan at 12 weeks as I had heavy bleeding and I still hadn't had my nhs scan x

We had a scare so paid for a private one at 6 weeks. We only saw a spec and a tiny flashing heartbeat but it was so magical and wonderful, and put us right at ease.
