Need encouragement: c-section

I’m 41 weeks and 1 day. My scheduled induction next week has turned into a scheduled c-section. Ultrasound this morning showed baby was 10.5 pounds!!! 😳😳😳 thus the need for c-section. It’s been an emotional week for us not knowing when this baby would ever come and now to have this thrown on us. I think husband is very stressed about how to care for me and baby while I recover. I’m frustrated that we didn’t get an ultrasound 3 weeks ago so maybe we could have induced if baby was getting too large. I know overall things will likely be fine and I feel better knowing it’s a c-section rather than trying to push and then having to do an emergency C-section if baby gets stuck or in distress. Any words of wisdom or encouragement? Thank you in advance!
