Scared to use sex toys, what should I do?

Bought my first sex toy & was really excited to use it. I did a decent amount of research about material, care & usage. But now that I have it I'm terrified of actually putting it inside me (I'm a virgin). I'm worried that I might do something wrong & end up with an infection or hurt myself some how.

It's a medical grade silicone rabbit vibrator, I have aloe based, toy safe lube & natural, unsented soap to clean it.

I briefly used it once, didn't enjoy it much & got scared. I've never put anything inside my body before, I can't even use tampons. Am I doing things right?

I don't know what to expect & that makes me nervous. Also, my parents greatly disapprove of masterbation so I don't want to risk anything going wrong and having to tell them. I don't want to get in trouble.
