Heavy cramps & bleeding

Please bare with me...so, last Sunday I woke with lower abdominal cramps. It got to Tuesday and my panty liner had brown and blood on it. We went to the hospital and got a scan. Baby is ok. I’ve got an infection downstairs.

Fast forward to Friday and the cramps haven’t stopped, I went for a wee and the paper was covered in blood! Cramping still and worse, no clots though. Went to A&E again and have been told that these pains are normal...I mean I’m in half! It’s not lower down on the left side and has got worse in the evening. I’m now off work as my boss doesn’t want me in if I’m bleeding still...what do I do? I feel I keep bugging the doctors etc but this pain is bad and I didn’t have this with our first son. Please help!
