Do you guys picture the bond between your baby when they’re born?

I feel guilty because I’m mostly focused on the feeling I’ll have to have my own family than the motherly feeling I’m going to have. Idk how I’m supposed to feel, I never wanted kids until my boyfriend really wanted one and now I want a family with him more than anything..

I had a really horrible pregnancy I was in constant pain I had issues from the minute I found out I was pregnant all tje way until I gave birth, I wanted kids but the circumstances in which I fell pregnant made it even harder for me to bond with my pregnancy ontop of other mental illnesses I had a really hard time. But the minute my baby was born they held him up and gave him right to me and I cried and I cried and I cried because I had so much love for him it’s indescribable, it was like suddenly all the pain and anguish I had been through in my life had disappeared I suddenly had a reason to live, my baby is currently 3 months old and I can say with 100% honesty I love him more and more everyday. Every new skill he learns the smiles and laughs the squeals and watching him figure out he has fingers and toes I’ve forgotten all the bad in my life and it’s been replaced with nothing but unconditional love for my baby
