What’s the deal..?

My fiancé and I have been together for 6 years. He made a promise 2 years ago to get me the ring we both fell in love with, and it still hasn’t happened. What hurts me, is that he purchased brand new living room furniture and spent almost $3000, which is more than the price of the ring that we wanted. We technically didn’t need new furniture. He says he can’t afford to do this or that, so it really broke my heart..😔

We make decent money, and don’t have much debt, and are in our 30’s and 40’s, so I’m starting to think this is a sign.

Thanks for y’all’s responses. I thought so, but wanted to get an outsiders opinion or point of view.

We are already engaged. I do not have an engagement ring. The entire living room set was paid for upfront with cash.
