Telling my boss I’m pregnant?

Question

When should I tell my boss that I’m pregnant? I work at a fandom store/retail. 
It requires me to move a lot and bend down a lot as well. I find that I’m extremely tired lately. I’m still in my first trimester and my boss realizes or notices when I’m quiet or when I’m working a little slower she doesn’t get upset she just checks up on me to make sure that I’m OK. I also work in the afternoons and that’s usually when I get more nauseous and extremely fatigue. ￼￼￼￼ and correct me if I’m wrong but I feel like I should let my boss know about these things just in case I need to go in the back and take a little breather. ￼ also I apologize for putting it under this category I didn’t really find one that could fit my question￼

You don’t need to tell them until you’re ready, just let them know 3 months before your due date. Make sure you know your rights and they can’t fire you for being pregnant. If you can’t do certain things let your doctor know and they should be able to give you a note for work.

I told my boss a few days after I found out about 5 weeks. This is because my job requires me to sit on the floor with small children and to pick them up all day, and if I needed to run to the restroom and be sick or anything I could.

I told my boss at 20 weeks because I knew I would start showing and I work in the hospital. My boss was very accepting. You have rights! ￼

I let my work know when I was 7 weeks because It can be very physically demanding and also I was never the kind of person to be late but it always seemed like when I had to leave I wanted to throw up🙄 my boss was very understanding

You can tell them whenever you want. I told mine the day after I found out since I needed accommodations from the very beginning. Otherwise, I probably would have waited until I told my friends and family after the 12 week mark.

If you feel you may be doing things like lifting too much or anything you think would be putting your pregnancy in jeopardy then you may tell her. Otherwise you are not obligated to mention it.
