Lexapro

Has anyone ever been on lexapro for anxiety? About two weeks ago I had to go to the ER twice for symptoms that they’re saying is related to anxiety and all my tests came back fine. My primary care prescribed 5mg of lexapro and tbh I’m nervous to take medication. Side note: I have been diagnosed with severe depression in the past but have never been on meds. I have my daughter who’s six months and am a bit stressed which could be the reason, I’m not sure (other than the pandemic).
