changed clinics

so i recently changed clinics and the NP that saw me already wanted to discuss birth control, she said that we needed to have a plan so i could be put on birth control after baby and all this nonsense when i told her i wasn’t thinking of using birth control. she said that birth control is good because i need to let body rest and wait up until a year to give birth again 🙄 i feel like doctors should respect your decision in whether you want to use birth control methods or not. the pill makes me sick, makes me get worse cramps than the ones i already have without it and makes me bleed like crazy, and break out. has anyone had a doctor try to pressure them into birth control?
