IUD removal... FAIL

I had my appointment today, went in all positive. Dr warns me, if she cannot physically see the strings she will not be able to remove it. Of course my anxiety sky rocketed. I’m like god please let her see them pleaseeeeee !

She goes in, nothing, says she sees something at the tip of my cervix. Goes to grab smaller tools, goes in again. Nothing 😭😭

Dec 30th i see another dr, she has more tools that may help. But if she can’t remove it, then i have to have surgery.

So basically a repeat of what happened last year after finally taking my mirena out after 5yrs. Ughhh. I’m staying away from IUDs after this. My strings always disappear. My IUD is always in place too.
