What were your essentials in your hospital bag for yourself?! I am going shopping monday for my hospital bag and want to know what i NEED!

- gown to labor in unless you’re using the hospitals
- a robe
- two nursing bras
- pair of pajamas
- clothes to wear home (sweatpants, loose tshirt, and sweater for me)
- socks/slippers
- boppy (an extra but nice to have especially if you struggle breastfeeding like I do)
- water bottle with straw (or use hospitals)
- snacks
- toiletries (lip balm and hair ties!)
- makeup
- pillow/blanket
- phone charger
Baby
- swaddle and bow for pictures
- going home outfit
- car seat installed in car
Daddy
- pillow
- socks
-underwear
-pajamas
- change of clothes
- charger
-  earphones
Things I’m not packing
- underwear, going to use mesh underwear and pads from hospital
Peri bottle ditto
Postpartum sprays meds ditto

Toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, face wash, makeup remover wipes, face moisturizer, hand cream, chapstick, hair brush, non scented deodorant—-non scented is important around the baby)
Makeup if you plan to take pictures 
Hair ties and clips
Phone + charger 
Notepad, pen, file organizer (for all of the hospital paperwork)
Flip flops for the shower 
Body wipes in case you have a c-section and can’t shower right away 
Robe
Going home outfit (something soft and loose)
Breastpump + bottle if you don’t feel comfortable using the hospital pump during Covid-19 
Nipple cream

Don’t forget chargers and entertainment fir yourself. I had a tablet and my kindle. Also, we brought our Roku stick which was super nice (recommended by the hospital)

Bring your own pillow with colorful pillowcase (to not get confused with hospital linens). I had my own slippers by I hate slipper socks.

I have a set of pajama for after the baby is born, slippers, going home outfit something loose and comfy, I’m using depend discreet pull ups because from experience those big long pads they give aren’t secure or comfortable also have pads, soap (they do provide soap for down there and a water bottle that helps a lot to squirt down there for cleaning and comfort), toothbrush/tooth paste, lotion, deodorant, phone charger (long one).., that’s really it for me... if you want to bring makeup and other stuff like that you can but I pretty much named the necessities you’ll need.
