done having babies

How did you know you were DONE having babies? How do you prevent pregnancy? I'm completely sure I'm done having babies but I suck at birth control. I tried the depo shot & will never get it ever again, anything inserted is a no go (I know 4 people who've had awful experiences with iud's), I suck at remembering taking pills, I'm too terrified to get my tubes tied. Other than condoms or not having sex is there anything other than these options to help prevent pregnancy?
