Will nap time ever be tear free?

Question

We are 6 months old, taking 3-4 naps a day based on wake windows and sleepy cues.  We have been doing this for months and months. 
Will naps ever be tear free?  Every time we go down for a nap there’s a crying fit. Ranges from 1 minute to 5 minutes depending how well I read her sleepy cues.  On the rare occasion when there’s no tears (maybe 1-2 times a week) it’s because she just lays there awake playing with her feet and babbling. Then eventually cries and falls asleep.  
I thought that eventually she would get used to things and there would be less or no tears. Is it just us?

5 mins of tears and then self settling is really good, in my opinion! My daughter was like that at this age. She’s now 2 and I literally throw her into the cot and say bye bye 😂 she chats to herself for ages sometimes, and there’s never any tears before naps or bed. She’s been like this since about 8/9 months. She was doing the same as your little one at 6 months!

It’s the same here but I’d rather that he learns how to put himself to sleep than trying to rock him to sleep.

Some kids are just criers... my son is 2 years old and still cries EVERY time I put him in his crib. He will cry for like 1-3 mins but then starts talking and playing or knocks out. But it’s been this way since he was an infant. My daughter on the other hand is 6 months and she does not cry most of the time. Only when she is super sleepy and I missed her cues.

I should add that we haven’t changed the sleeping location or routine since she was 2 months old. She always naps and sleeps in the crib.
