Color? If you give them a coloring book, and a marker, will they color and/or pretend to?

For about 5 minutes he will Scribble with crayons. I won’t do markers yet bc I don’t want it all over my walls or furniture. He enjoys dumping out all the crayons and putting them back in the box more than coloring I think

My may baby likes colouring I got him a box of markers and one of those easil(spelling??) and he draws lines and squiggles but mostly opens and closes the markers repeatedly 😂

I mean he likes watching me color but he gets a lot more distracted by looking and playing with his crayons.

I've not tried a coloring book but I got her some markers and gave her a cardboard box (we had a bout a zillion after Christmas) and it last maybe 5 minutes

Yes, my girl loves to color. She loves her magnetic drawing boards, but we'll also give her paper and crayons sometimes. They do a lot of art at daycare, so she pretty much learned how to draw there. I'm not a doodler, so she probably wouldn't have known what to do if not for being shown.
