How should I ask my boyfriend to get tested?

So my boyfriend slept around before we got together. He’s said he’s gotten tested after hooking up with someone but I’m not 100% sure. Not saying he’s lying but I just want to make sure. 
How should I go about asking him to go get tested. I would go as well since we’ve slept together?

Go get tested together. Simple. I made my then bf now husband go... and bring his results. I dont play when it comes to my health. And make sure u see a negative HIV status as well.  One sexual encounter can change std status... id want a recent and current one. No excuses.
