PP Headaches

After delivery on 11/15 I’ve been getting pretty regular headaches. Baby is now 5 weeks old and I do feel pretty stressed with the holiday but those dull headaches turned into a full blown almost migraine feeling. It’s like both sides of my head are being squeezed and it radiates to the front is my head. Of course every week I think it’s Covid because everything makes me feel like I have Covid now lol but I have zero symptoms besides these off and on headaches I’ve had for 5 weeks now. I will say I had pre eclampsia that developed into HELLP syndrome (I was hospitalized for a week after having baby) but I’ve since been cleared. I’m being weaned off the BP meds and my numbers have been totally normal. I’m frustrated because my OBs office when I called and asked them about it, as soon as they hear HELLP, they automatically want to send me to the ER. Our ER is so bad they have trucks coming to pick up bodies and people are being rerouted to other hospitals. They said I’d go there and then after screening they’d send me to labor and delivery. I refuse to go into the ER and risk bringing Covid home to my newborn and the rest of our family. I’m calling on Monday to demand they order me bloodwork at an outpatient office to check things for HELLP besides just my BP and I’m also checking my sugar as I was a gestational diabetic. Those numbers have been a little high in the 170s more than I’d like. Is anyone else struggling with headaches and not have any other issues? I also think I might be starting my first pp period already and my mom is wondering if it’s just hormonal issues. I’m breastfeeding so I can’t take anything strong to help.
