The HOOK Effect?

Has anyone heard of and possibly experienced the hook effect first hand?

This is crazy I know, but my period has been completely missed. I’m now CD 44. My O date was completely off. I got my faint positive with first response on the 23rd, a fainter positive on the 24th, took a clear blue yesterday the 26th and got a faint positive, all with FMU. I took a digital and the dollar store cheapies, the cheapie this morning with FMU and they were all negative. I’ve yet to try diluting my urine a bit, although my FMU today was lighter than it has ever been and I’ve slept about 5hours of a urine hold before taking it.

I’m unbelievably nauseous with horrible heartburn. I can’t sleep, I have hot flashes, my lower back hurts ever so faintly here and there, I have been experiencing some light pains sporadically around my pelvis, I’m stinky gassy and the indigestion is horrible! I could go on with everything else.

I’m beyond confused! I called my new obgyn office when I got the first response faint positive out of a freak out panic because it’s been 3 years and I suffer from early to late losses, so I go in Wednesday for 8am. However I’ve never been seen there and I’m scared they’ll think I’m crazy if I’m still late and their urine test said negative.
