Online banking/savings

I have my checking account for bills and such and I have two separate saving's. One titled 'Emergency Funds' and the other just 'Savings', you know, for stuff like a vehicle and bigger purchases.

I just started my job two weeks ago and I'm not full time quite yet so I don't make as much as I would like. I do my best to put 15% into Savings and 5% into Emergency Funds for every paycheck (I get paid weekly). Later on if I find I can manage putting away 20% and 10% I'm going to do that. I want to put away as much as possible, while still being able to pay bills and get essentials like toiletries and water. I think I'm doing well budgeting and saving as a young adult, I just wish I started before the age of 21. I'm going to buy myself a planner specific for finances and budgeting.

I grew up in the lower class, living paycheck to paycheck. It was a struggle. We almost lost our house once and the power was shut off more than a few times throughout my childhood. Growing up in a family of 4 making less than 45k a year it was tough and I want better for myself. I don't want children, so I hope to have my life on track by the time I'm 35. You know, house, career, and a husband. The whole sha-bang.

I don't make New Year resolutions, but I do make goals for myself and this one is it
