How long did you wait before using any type of assist while TTC?

I’m currently on month 4 of TTC and wondering if it’s time to add some “help”. I’m having a hard time tracking my ovulation due to my work schedule so I might have to take my strips to work. How long were you TTC before adding supplements or other tricks to the mix?

You should be taking prenatals already- Lots of good stuff in those to help your body prepare for a healthy pregnancy! I called my OB after 2 months TTC and told her assistant I was trying and not sure if they had any “protocol” for her patients trying for their first baby. My OB immediately set me up on a virtual appointment and walked me through her “best tips.” She said to start with Clearblue ovulation tests, BBT, and CM and chart it all (which I had already been doing). After two more months she looked at my charts and noticed some irregularities and brought me in for hormone testing and my partner in for a semen analysis. Month 5 she started me on Clomid and preseed and I’m currently in my second cycle of that! No luck the first month, but I definitely ovulated and my chart looks more normal that previously so fingers crossed that this is the month! I also bought the Mira analyzer - it gives you a digital read of your exact LH levels and has helped immensely in understanding what my body is doing!

We’ve been trying since May 2020. I started using OPK in august/September after my miscarriage. I’ve been taking prenatals the whole time but just added COQ10 this month.
