When would you leave your baby for a week?

So I’m curious about this because I know 2 people who have babies and just left them for a week to go on vacation and the babies will be “circulating between the grandparents and the siblings of the mothers...” one is a month old tomorrow and the other is just about 6 months. For a WEEK.My babe is 4 months and I don’t even think I could leave her for a weekend by the time she turns one. Am I crazy and over protective? So wondering when other mamas would feel comfortable with leaving their babes for a week to go on vacation without them?
