Anterior placenta 39 weeks pregnant

I have an anterior placenta found out very early in my pregnancy (at about 12 weeks I believe). I was told then, that one time 🙄, that if my placenta grew down instead of upwards and partially or completely covered my cervix I would have to have a c section....no one has even checked since then😐. I’ll literally be 40 weeks In a few days. I don’t want to go in to this thinking I’m going to have a natural child birth just to end up with a c section. I have an appointment tomorrow. Worth mentioning right?
