In case no one told you...
Gender disappointment is REAL and VALID. You’re going to have an idea as to the things you will be buying, names, everything, just to find out it’s the opposite gender. Being sad is okay, crying about it is okay. I wish someone had told me that when I had my first baby. It took me a few weeks to warm up to the idea of having a boy but now my baby boy is the absolute light of my life and I can’t imagine things any other way.
