Massive amount of fluid / discharge postpartum?

I’m 5 days postpartum and from day 1, I’ve had MASSIVE gushes of fluid (I’m told is loschia) coming out of me, especially standing after I’ve been sitting for a bit. We’re talking like a heavy stream of it for a full minute when I stand.. enough to saturate one of those huge postpartum pads. There’s a bit of blood but it’s mostly a clear fluid. Definitely not urine, as I can sit down and pee after it happens. It just seems like an insane amount of fluid and I’m wondering if anyone else had that. The nurses at the hospital just brushed it off like “oh yeah you can expect a lot of discharge” but this seems extreme! Anyone else have this?
