Can a almost 6month old get bored ??

Question

My almost 6 month old baby boy seems like he gets bored after playing with a toy or with what I’m doing to keep him entertained . It seems like he wants to do things before he can . If I have him in my knee he tries to wiggle his way off like he wants to get down with his sister but he can’t walk yet and he does they same when he is in his exersaucer . I’ve looked it up and it says babies don’t get bored but I’m not sure why else it could be .

My 5 month old screeches when she’s bored. It’s like a game of rotating baby: exersaucer, floor, high chair with toys, my arms, soft seat with chew toy, back to the floor with new toys.

I swear she’s been getting bored since 3 months, I have to constantly switch up what we’re doing or what room we’re in. It gets exhausting for sure

Mine gets bored like 15 mins after doing the same thing. We go from floor time, to bouncer, to exersaucer, to outside, to swing and then he takes a nap and then repeat. 😂

Babies totally get bored! I’ve noticed that there is a fine line between when I need to give the baby a new activity or new place to be and when the boredom will lead to him being able to do something new like roll over or practice getting his knees under him.

Yes! I remember reading it in the 4 month milestone questionnaire- asked if they cry when they get bored. Mine gets bored after about 15-20 min of doin something.

Yes! Mine has been like that since 4 months! He starts getting really mad if he gets bored with a toy or entertainment.
