Where/ how did you’re newborn sleep?

Hey guys! FTM here and I’m currently 23 weeks. Starting to buy stuff for little girl and my husband and I saw some bassinets today that we really liked. Curious if you let your baby co sleep or if you chose a bassinet/crib?

With my first i co slept till 4 months then moved him to the bassinet for a month then to the crib when he was 6 months. But when he napped when i didnt sleep he would be in the bassinet. I was a nervous wreck with my first lol. With my second i co slept with her for two days then moved her to the bassinet now she is in the crib she is 6 months.

We co slept with the dock-a-tot until about 6 weeks when we transitioned to her crib. It was super easy having her close in the beginning, but she started sleeping through the night when she was in her crib which was great for all of us.

She slept in her crib in her room. It was the right choice for all of us.

Straight to the crib for us! We also live in japan where cosleeping is the norm so he comes into bed with me often too.

We used a doc-a-tot with our second baby. 
With the first we had a bassinet but my husband laid her on his chest and she became Daddy’s Girl. Ended up sleeping in our bed until she was 2-3yrs old. 
This next baby may have a doc a tot too then transition to a crib, I’m tired of sharing our bed with kids.

We skipped crib and bassinet with both kids and did pack n play. Eventually they end up in my bed 🤷🏻‍♀️ they’re 4 and 1 now
