How do you feel about the vaccine?

My job gave us papers yesterday to fill out to get our vaccine and I’m skeptical about this.

I know 2 people who have recieved the vaccine (a doctor and nurse). Neither have had any reactions

I’m part of a population of people the vaccine has not been tested on (no spleen), and so I am not likely going to get it at this point. But I am glad so many are getting it because that’s the purpose - vaccinate as many as possible so those who cannot be vaccinated are also safe. I also have no immunity to rubella despite having the vaccines multiple times. I rely on others to keep that illness from returning to the general public.

I’m 25 & in excellent shape, health wise. I will be getting the Vaccine when I can, it’s important for us to do our part for people who still need some convincing whether it be our elders or people with allergies. If you can get it, get it pls, so hopefully we can all have a good summer.

Tbh, im curious and would want to get a german vaccine. Im of the mind that german/japanese stuff are of the highest quality most of the time.

I can’t get it for a variety of reasons - I’m a breastfeeding mom, I have had serious allergic reactions in the past (not to medicine, but someone with a bee allergy nearly died so I’m nervous now), and I’m asthmatic (not sure if that has an impact on the vaccine or not but still). I feel like this vaccine came out very quickly and I’d like to wait and see how other people react to it before I even consider it, and I would feel the same way even if I wasn’t currently breastfeeding my baby.
