Dry itchy skin

Question

So my baby suffers from ezcema. Now i have tried almost everything, breast milk soap, sensitive soap, cerave ointment, aquafor, hydrocortizone and he just keeps scratching. Specifically his neck, chest and thighs. My question is can I put vitamin e oil directly on my baby skin. He’s 8 months old.

We use Hollywood cocoa butter skin creme with vitamin E and that’s the only thing that helps my son. Oh and we use Dove head to toe body wash for sensitive skin. One thing our doctor told us was to pat dry him and cover him really well and put form fitting clothes in him after a bath. It helps keep the moisture in and the clothes won’t rub and irritate his skin. And to not bathe him daily. I hope you find something that helps!!

This was the only thing that worked for my boy. I think you can put vitamin e oil on but I don’t know that it will help.

Vanicream worked the best for my daughter’s eczema. But the main trick was keeping it under control before it got bad. When the rashes got too bad, the only thing that would work was a steroid cream from the dermatologist. Personally, I wouldn’t use vitamin E. Oil based products would cause my daughter to get staph infection.
