So my daughters 4 month old visit is today. The nurse always calls and asks these sort of pre screening questions I assume to keep visits shorter. The usual; is she formula or breastfeed? How many Wet/dirty diapers? Any Pets? Etc. Well then she asked me, is she sleeping atleast an 8hr stretch and is she falling asleep on her own? I was like umm no.. the longest stretch is 3-4 hrs and she is nursed and rocked to sleep. Is what I’m doing wrong? This made me feel upset honestly. Are they expecting my 4 month old breastfed baby to lay in her crib and fall asleep on her own and sleep atleast 8 hrs ?? Is that any of y’all’s experience with your 4 month old? Made me feel as if I am doing something wrong or it’s not normal. Idk I’m ftm. So I worry about everything.
