When did your glorious bump start to show??

I am about 13 weeks and I just feel FATTT - not glowy and showy. I’ve gained 3.5 pounds.. is this too much?

Especially if it’s your first pregnancy, you wouldn’t show in your first trimester. Most women don’t show with their first until at least 18 weeks, and that’s if they’re pretty tiny. I didn’t start to really show until around 20, it wasn’t super noticeable until 22 weeks though. I’m tall and slender so I think that’s what hid it for so long. I’m now 30 weeks and only recently have people started asking me if I’m pregnant. I lost almost 10 pounds at the beginning,  but have gained it all back plus almost an additional 20. Weight gain is healthy during pregnancy. Talk to your doctor if you’re worried about it, but your body needs to gain weight not just as the baby grows, but to hold fluid and nutrients.

You don’t have a bump before 12 weeks.
It’s just bloat if you’re earlier than 12 weeks as your uterus is still tucked behind your pelvic bone.

No 3.5 lbs isnt too much  at all. In the first trimester they estimate that you can gain anywhere frlm 0-5lbs. But, everyone is different.

My bloat started at 6 weeks and never went away.at 35 weeks now my bump is actually lot smaller than the bloat I had until 16 weeks😂

I’m 25 weeks with my second and I finally popped. I haven’t gained any weight at all yet. Every body and every pregnancy is different.

Almost 14 weeks and I’ve gained 6 pounds 😳 and that’s with the fact that I don’t eat much because of nausea. My husband says it looks like a bump, I think it looks like a really big gut 😂 but I had a little gut before getting pregnant so🤷🏻‍♀️
