need advice on when we should announce!!!

heyy everyone. me and my boyfriend are both still in high school and somehow it got out that we are pregnant. we are still on winter break until the 11th but we planned to announce with an instagram post after our next appointment (i would be almost 13 weeks) and we are having trouble deciding whether we should just post it before we go back next week (on campus) so we don’t have to say no if anyone asks (we don’t want this to be a word of mouth thing) and then turn around the next week and announce it. or if we should wait and just post it after the appointment? we are okay with posting before the 12 week mark because our doctor says that everything looks good and that this should be a healthy pregnancy. we know that ultimately it is our choice but we were hoping to get some opinions and advice before we make one. if yall could help us out that would be great!!
