When to inform doctor on pregnancy.

I found out I was pregnant at the weekend, I have estimated (from last period and all of that) I’m about 5/6 weeks - clear blue test said 3+ so seems about right. When is the best time to call the doctors and let them know? Don’t want to do it too early or too late?

Call now. They’ll set up the right appointment based on you LMP. But because of COViD my office sees less patients a day which means appointments are harder to get.

ASAP. You need to do blood tests to check if is all good or maybe you need to take any vitamins.

I called when I found out, with covid they are not doing much any way. They just referred me to the midwife, who I heard from when I was 10 weeks for my booking appointment and then 12 weeks for my scan.

As soon as you get a positive test, call the doctor. Tell them you had a positive hot and they'll get you in to date you.

Call your doctors straight away and let them know cause they can get your set up with your midwife! However I’m in the uk and my first appointment with the midwife isn’t until 16weeks but they will get you all set up!!
