Birth control
I have been on birth control (the pill) for about a month because my periods hate me and wreck havoc on my body.
I feel fine on it and I feel like it’s helping my skin a lot which I love and my periods are no where near as heavy as they used to be. But the only problem is that I’ve been bleeding for almost 3 weeks straight. My doctor told me that spotting is normal which I started a little after a week of staring the pill. Then after spotting for almost 2 weeks, I went right into my period. I’ve been on my period for a full week and there’s no sign it’s stopping anytime soon. Is it normal to be bleeding for this long after starting birth control? This is my first time taking it. And I understand that it’s going to take some time for my body to get used to it, but I’m a little concerned with all this bleeding.
