Quickie vs date with your boyfriend

Is it worth it to see your partner for just a quickie and then go home? I want to spend the night but they have work in the morning. I was interested in a quickie the other day , but then I bought this super cute outfit and would like to have a date, and they just only want sex and I'm kinda sad now and don't care about the outfit. I don't know it sounds dumb but I got excited to get all dolled up. Should I say I don't want a quickie anymore or should I just go ?
