18 with my first Bartholins cyst (I think)?

So I noticed a lump about the size of a blueberry on my labia majora, it’s parallel to my vagina, about 3 days ago. It felt a bit sore and caught me by surprise.
Its now about an inch in size or more and very painful when sitting, having sex and walking. When I’m in bed it feels like a deep ache. It feels really deep into the skin so I don’t think it could be a cyst but the gland it’s self. If it was a cyst I don’t think it pop because it’s not close to the surface of my skin. What should I do? What will the doctor do?

Call your doctor and get in to have to drained and to get antibiotics. If it pops on its own before you can get seen go to the ER. Try a warm compress and avoid sex until it’s gone

If it’s confined to the labia majora it’s likely not a Bartholins cyst, which is good. Usually they present closer to the vaginal opening. If it’s near your opening but is large enough that you can feel it on the labia majora it might be one. Sizz baths, warm compress and ibuprofen if it is swelling! If it doesn’t start to heal in a day or two call your doctor.
